I have attended several institutes and they are GREAT. My question is this….the DuFours talk about the importance of aligning all priorities and tasks to our PLC goals. I would like to invite our support personnel to an institute this summer, like the business manager, facilities manager, etc., so they have a better understanding of PLC. Has anyone out there ever done this, and can you tell me how it was received? I need some first hand experiences to help sell the idea. Thank you.

I would like to hear from others who have altered their school’s schedule to work more effectively with the PLC model. For example, we are interested in forming teams of teachers (K-5) who teach children based upon their needs rather than their chronological age or grade level. Has anyone altered or created a schedule that would allow this sort of thing to occur?
